I’m so excited to share that a special editorial I produced appears today on The Lingerie Addict, the number one lingerie magazine in the world! I wanted to style a shoot that showed off some of the absolute best in wedding-ready lingerie for both fuller busts and plus sizes, and the designers, brands, and creative team I worked with pulled out all the stops!

Harlow & Fox x Karolina Laskoska ‘Alycya’ bralette, suspender, stockings, and briefs; bespoke Harlow & Fox bra; Dottie’s Delights x Mosh ‘Marry and Bury’ robe
Whenever I talk with friends who work in the wedding industry, or receive panicked DMs from friends who are about to get married or attend a special event, I am reminded of how little awareness there still is of so many fantastic fuller-bust-focused lingerie pieces and brands. When I’ve been wedding dress shopping with friends, many boutique owners aren’t prepared to offer suggestions for someone who wears DD+ bra sizes, and most articles I see suggest Spanx, or only offer options up to a DD or DDD cup size. There’s so, so much more!

Curvy Kate ‘Luxe’ strapless basque, The Giving Bride ‘Nora’ robe, bespoke Karolina Laskowska button-back lace knickers, Glamory Hosiery stockings
I partnered with the wonderful photographer Sylvie Rosokoff, makeup artist Jane Meng, hair stylist Siobhán Quinlan, floral design studio Mimosa Floral, and bridal accessories brand Wayfarer Bride. Together, we worked to create a dreamy, wintry fairytale setting that captures the feeling of those moments when ice and snow crystals start to thaw and reveal the first blossoms of Spring.

Harlow & Fox ‘Serena’ Ivory longline bra and high-waist briefs, Harlow & Fox ‘Cassiopeia’ silver beaded robe
All together, the pieces in this editorial include band sizes ranging from 26 to 48, cup sizes ranging from B to J (UK cup sizes, so B to M in US cup sizes), and dress sizes from XS to 3X. There are lingerie pieces designed to be worn under gowns, as well as sets that would be perfect for honeymoons or any special occasion.

Elila Lace strapless bustier, Dottie’s Delights Long Sheer Dressing Robe
Looking for wedding lingerie tips? Check out the post at TLA for more! My biggest tip: you don’t not “have” to wear a particular kind of lingerie if you don’t want to. Your wedding day is usually long and full of activity, and above all, you want to make sure whatever you’re wearing will keep you feeling comfortable and supported the whole day.

Katherine Hamilton ‘Abrielle’ bra and brief (coming soon)

March 5, 2020 at 12:21 pm (3 years ago)Thank you so much!!! I really hoped when I grew out my college pixie cut that my hair would look like that naturally, but I’m wearing like 4 individual hairpieces to achieve that look, lol 🙂 I bought really cheap fake hair so it’s very heavy, but it definitely makes me want to investigate nicer options that would be comfortable to wear for a longer period of time.
