Because let’s be real: you made a brand-new person, and you should have nice things.
1. “Show Off” in Vanilla by Hotmilk
This cotton-lined set is surprisingly subdued, compared to some of Hotmilk’s past offerings, but I think the raspberry accents against the creamy white base are so pretty and sweet.
2. “Anastasia” by You! Lingerie
I fell in love with You! Lingerie after seeing their unbelievably charming and delightful runway show at lingerie fashion week. The brand’s use of color is just perfect, particularly some of the blue sets like this robin’s egg blue “Anastasia” plunge bra with sexy black straps and signature hot pink bows.

3. Twilight Chemise by HOTmilk
I really can’t get enough of navy with black lace right now. I’ve seen it from Miss Mandalay, Hips and Curves, and a few other popular brands, and here Hotmilk gets in on the trend with this lovely, comfy-looking nursing nightie.
4. “Ginger Macaroon” by Cake Lingerie
Welp, everything about this chemise, including the name, is perfect, and if I were in fact nursing an infant I might never want to take it off.

“Ginger Macaroon” nursing chemise by Cake Lingerie ($97.50 at Butterfly Collection Lingerie). Available in sizes S-2XL.
5. “Black Licorice” by Cake Lingerie
I love this sassy windowpane plaid, rendered in striking black and white. It’s grown-up without feeling musty or staid.
6. The Mimi Holliday Maternity styles: Bon Bon Noir, Dotty L’Amour, Dotty Nuit, Bisou Bisou Rose
I’ve made no secret of my love for Mimi Holliday, with their stunning colors and fantastic size and style range, and I’m thrilled that in addition to the dozens of other bra and knickers styles they offer, they’ve now added four beautiful silk and lace nursing bras. The bras coordinate perfectly with the rest of the range, which means you can get a bra to match your silk knickers even once your breastfeeding days are behind you. The initial size range is smaller than their impressive A-GG cup sizes featured in other collections, but hopefully once these styles gain ground we can expect to see a size expansion. I love that they picked collections that range from sweet to sultry, and that they included their always-popular Bisou Bisou eyelash lace collection too!

More holiday lingerie to come later this week! Is your list as long as mine by now?

November 27, 2013 at 12:20 pm (9 years ago)Oh my gosh, I love you. (Also, you are reading my mind: I was going to ask you to post about maternity lingerie!) These pieces are so much more appealing than the motley VS/Target collection I have going at the moment. I know that lots of women love the changes that happen to their bodies while pregnant, but I do not fall into that category, and I know that having some lingerie that I love will make the next 6 (eep) months a little bit easier. Thanks, Sweets. xoxo.

February 7, 2014 at 7:34 am (9 years ago)I love this! Who says nursing bras shouldn’t make you feel fabulous! My personal favourite has always been Hotmilk. BTW – Have you heard of a UK company called Amoralia? They do some really nice nursing bras. You should do a review!
